  1. Aw~ the cat looks alone on the roof… Wait, no. There’s a bird on it too! Haha! I can imagine the cat chasing away that bird either before or after you’ve taken this shot. Is that your neighbor’s cat and roof, btw? It’s good that the roof is made out of cement to eliminate noise from their ramblings, or should I say, “playing.” :D

  2. I think the cat wasn’t sitting on the roof… it was standing. It looks like it was staring at something and suddenly became curious about it. I hope it doesn’t run around on the roof chasing that “something” up there. Hm, good thing the roof is concrete. Its footsteps, or should I say “foot-runs,” won’t make any sound on the roof. That’s just one advantage of having a concrete roof, hehe.

  3. Did the owner of the house next to yours consider their roof as “green?” Hehe, it can literally be one. But looking at how spacious that roof is, I think a garden deck will be a good idea. Making good use of the roof space would up the value of their home even more. Maybe the cat and that bird will like it even more! :D

  4. You’re right, Drew. The roof is spacious. The owner can build a roof garden or mini farm on it. He can nurture a variety of flowers or plant some vegetables on it. With this, the owner can have an excellent source of nutritious meals or a perfect spot for relaxation. Surely, not only cats will visit this roof but also a variety of insects, such as the stunning butterflies.

  5. I actually like that idea, Linda! The owner can convert the space into a roof garden or mini farm. The owner will just need to place some iron grills around it, put a garden set, and place some flower pots. The flowers and plants can easily grow here because the place receives plenty of sunlight! Imagine having a place you can call your own in the middle of the urban jungle – now that’s what I call a secret retreat!

  6. Meow, hey at least it wasn’t Catwoman.. That cat is cute, though. And I agree, the cat was staring at something that caught its attention. I wonder what that was. The roof looks like its concrete, but I think its non-corroding paint. They probably used metal roofing under it.

  7. Ditto! I share the same opinion as everyone commenting on the blog. I think you should convert this spacious deck into something more useful. Growing shrubs and small flowers will definitely turn this space into a beautiful and eye-catching roof!

  8. If you’re not into gardening and planting greens and flowers on your roof, you can put some furniture there and turn it into a stylish roof deck. As a result, you can have a place where you and your friends can hang out. But you might have to re-design and re-build your roof a little
